I love my work. I feel honored and excited to share space with you. My approach is collaborative and flexible depending on what fits and feels best for you. We draw on your strengths and internal wisdom. I bring training, my own being-a-human life experience, full attention, curiosity, creativity and humor into sessions. Collaborating to foster growth, movement and self empowerment.

I enjoy working with individuals experiencing life transitions, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and those looking to deepen and improve their relationship with themselves.

I draw from different modalities, including Internal Family Systems, Interpersonal, Attachment and Existential perspectives. Depending on your needs and style, I will draw from other counseling theories as needed.

With couples I use Emotionally Focused Therapy. EFT is a model of treatment proven effective to help couples find greater safety and security with one another. It is based on the scientific study of adult love and bonding processes in couples and designed to address distress in intimate relationships.

90% of couples who seek therapy to improve their relationship find EFT highly effective. They report a significant improvement in understanding their own emotional responses and those of significant people in their lives. EFT helps couples build stronger attachment bonds. The result is that they feel safe and secure together. They feel important to their partner lending to greater flexibility in problem solving and more meaningful communication

Reaching out can be hard. I strive to create a warm, supportive space. My goals are to meet you where you are, empower you, and together define and work towards your goals.

Finding the right counselor is important to successful therapy. I offer a 15 minute free consultation if you would like to feel out compatibility before scheduling an appointment.

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
